Raphaëlle Hébert

Biography

Raphaëlle Hébert is originally from Très-St-Rédempteur, a small village in rural Quebec, but is now based in Montreal. Her love for all colors, textures, and mediums led her to the Visual Arts program at Cégep de Saint-Laurent. Her training in set design at John Abbott College then confirmed her passion for hands-on, creative work. Her versatility led her to design costumes for The Orphan Sea (2024) and to create the sets for Alias Grace (2025) and Jekyll & Hyde (2025). Raphaëlle doesn't just use her hands; she uses her whole body as well, because she is also a contemporary dance artist. She is currently enrolled in the intensive Big Bang training program, where she is beginning the creation of a new solo piece. Raphaëlle collaborated and performed on the plays Synapse III: Following the Roots to Find the Earth (2024) and I Discover Myself Before You, Here (2019). Amidst all this, the young artist is carving out her place among Quebec's emerging artists. She continues to draw inspiration from the nature that surrounds her daily and is always ready to learn new techniques or take up a new hobby.
